Political Philosophy

I believe all children deserve a quality education that prepares them for 21st century careers. I support transparency and accountability for all schools while putting students best interests first. I understand the unique challenges facing families of students with disabilities, as such it is imperative that they are equipped with the tools and resources to be successful.

My priorities include empowering parents to be active participants and engage in their child’s education, as well as updating procedures and protocol. Both of my priorities will make school an exciting joyous environment and maximize instructional minutes for students

Lastly, my priority is to be fiscally responsible for the budget and to ensure programs, services and staff are adequately funded. Along with financially supporting so programs, it is imperative to improving schools environment against bullying and safety of charter schools that provide parents more options for advocating for their children's education.
